The gameplay consists of exploration, quick time events (QTEs), and puzzle solving. These choices can lead to different endings depending on how well players do in certain situations. As players progress through the game, they must make choices that will affect how their character’s story progresses. Each character has their own unique story that intertwines with the others as they search for clues to find out who the Origami Killer is.
The player takes control of four different characters: Ethan Mars, Scott Shelby, Madison Paige, and Norman Jayden. The game is set in a fictional city called “Rain City” where a serial killer known as the Origami Killer has been terrorizing its citizens for years. Players take on the role of these characters and must make decisions that will affect the outcome of the story.
